Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Acute Hospital Speech Therapist to deliver speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, create evidence-based treatment plans, and provide individualized therapy to support safe swallowing and communication.

You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams, document care in the EHR, and educate patients and families while contributing to quality and safety

Qualifications

• Provide speech-language pathology care to adults in acute care settings.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver individualized therapy to support safe swallowing and communication.
