Job summary

Hattie Larlham in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an Activity Leader for the Excel Program to provide direct care to clients while teaching classes, leading activities, and ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing during participation.

Our staff enjoy building meaningful relationships, having fun, and supporting individuals to learn, grow, and communicate more effectively, with appreciation from families and the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Education Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio Driver's license with less than six points.
• Ability to complete required driver training class to drive and transport persons served.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a computer and have general knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients within the Excel Program while teaching various classes and leading activities.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of participants during activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with individuals and assist in learning and communication.
