Job summary

You will lead day-to-day activity sessions, coordinate parties, films and crafts, assist residents with activities, and maintain monthly logs and progress notes. Requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and prior long‑term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year activities experience preferred.
• Two years experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides programming that meets residents' interests and well-being.
• Encourages and assists residents to participate in hobbies and crafts.
• Assists bed-bound residents by visiting, writing/reading letters, providing materials for hobbies.
• Coordinates scheduled parties, movies, games and activities.
• Completes monthly activity log for activities led and maintains records.
• Communicates needs for supplies/equipment as needed.
