Job summary

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Education required.
• PA Teaching Certificate in appropriate content area required.
• Experience writing and implementing IEPs.
• Knowledge of Common Core and PA Standards.
• Ability to develop behavior plans and communicate with general ed teachers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with GSuite (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Able to analyze student data across K-12.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using varied methods.
• Set clear objectives for lessons and communicate them to students.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs and interests.
• Establish and enforce classroom behavior rules and procedures.
• Observe and evaluate student progress and development.
• Maintain accurate student records and timely assignments on class sites.
• Confer with parents, teachers, and administrators to resolve issues and plan curricula.
• Integrate technology and STREAM concepts into daily lessons.
• Prepare for assigned classes with lesson plans and materials.
