Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a qualified 4th Grade Math Teacher to join our dedicated team in Phoenix, AZ, starting ASAP. The role centers on delivering BASIS Curriculum with engaging lesson plans and collaborative co-teaching in a model that supports student excellence.

The incumbent will create and implement subject-specific instruction, tutor students, and partner with LETs to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining high standards of attendance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum by designing effective lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with other BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum materials.
• Tutor students to heighten academic trajectory and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility.
