Job summary

BASIS.ed in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a qualified Math/Science 2nd Grade Teacher to join our bright, passionate team and start ASAP. The role requires preparing and delivering grade-appropriate lessons within BASIS Curriculum, in a collaborative co-teaching setting with LETs, to ensure exceptional student outcomes.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in the subject matter (or equivalent), IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum by designing effective lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with other BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills to enhance academic trajectory.
• Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement and respect.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)

Master’s degree in subject matter or education
