Job summary

BASIS Ed in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Math Teacher (SET) to deliver day-to-day exceptional education by preparing lesson plans and implementing BASIS Curriculum with subject-specific engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in the subject, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, and MS Office proficiency; preferred Master’s in subject or education and 2+ years teaching. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction above grade level in an interactive environment to achieve exceptional results.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum and build a professional community.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to boost academic and career success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement, responsibility, intellect and respect.
• Support non-instructional duties such as lunch and before/after care programs.
• Maintain regular, full attendance and supervise students as required.
