Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a dynamic elementary setting, focusing on 3rd grade students with diverse learning needs. This contract position runs from late August through late May, balancing pull-out and push-in instruction with paraprofessional support to meet IEP goals.

You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, develop and monitor IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to ensure student success in inclusive

Qualifications

• Valid state Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility.
• Experience with elementary students, preferably 3rd grade.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt instruction for varied needs in both push-in and pull-out settings.
• Comfortable utilizing paraprofessional support to align with individualized student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to 3rd grade students in both general and specialized settings.
• Assess, develop, and update IEPs in partnership with families and support staff.
