Job summary

UIDP is seeking a Program Manager to shape and deliver high-value initiatives that strengthen university-industry partnerships. You will collaborate with sponsors, members, and staff to turn bold ideas into actionable programs in areas such as sponsored research partnerships, workforce development, and innovation ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of program management or related experience.
• PMP certification preferred or required.
• Experience with university–industry collaborations is desirable.
• Grant writing and post-award management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sponsors, UIDP members, and staff to plan scope, deliverables, resources, timelines, and work plans.
• Set ambitious program goals and own delivery of business objectives.
• Work with volunteers to brainstorm ideas and translate them into projects and reports.
• Analyze program risks and develop mitigation strategies; produce progress reports.
• Write clear reports that communicate insights to leaders and stakeholders.
• Promote UIDP initiatives and learnings to internal teams and external communities.
• Support development of a learning management program to share UIDP resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.
