UIDP is seeking a highly organized Program Coordinator to support execution of programs, initiatives, and grant-funded activities. The role spans multiple projects, providing coordination, administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure progress and commitments are met.
The ideal candidate will manage priorities, deadlines, and communications with diverse stakeholders, turning plans into action within UIDP’s hybrid setup in Columbia, SC.
UIDP is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the successful execution of UIDP’s programs, initiatives, and grant-funded activities. This position will work across multiple projects and priorities, providing coordination, administrative, logistical, and operational support to help ensure work progresses effectively and commitments are met.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with UIDP staff, members, external partners, program participants, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, tracking details and deadlines, communicating with diverse audiences, and helping turn plans into action.
This position may be responsible for a variety of additional tasks to support the effective operation of the organization. These may include general administrative functions, clerical support, document preparation, data entry, scheduling assistance, meeting coordination, filing, supply management, and other office-related activities. Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs, and flexibility and a collaborative approach are essential.
You thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt easily as program priorities, timelines, and organizational needs evolve. You effectively balance multiple programs and initiatives, coordinating activities, tracking deliverables, supporting meetings and events, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure projects stay on schedule. You are comfortable learning new subject areas, systems, and processes, and applying that knowledge across a diverse portfolio of work.
You are proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively with program leads, UIDP colleagues, members, partners, funders, and other stakeholders. You anticipate needs, follow through on details, maintain accurate and complete program records, and help ensure milestones, deliverables, grant requirements, and other commitments are completed on time.

Candidates must currently reside in South Carolina. This position is based in Columbia, SC, and follows UIDP’s hybrid work schedule, requiring staff to work in the office at least three days per week.
