Job summary

National Community Investment Fund (NCIF) is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst to support loan monitoring, portfolio risk assessment, loan servicing, and NMTC reporting across our commercial lending, equity, and NMTC portfolios.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to evaluate complex financial information, identify credit risks, and produce accurate reports and analyses for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in credit portfolio management and/or commercial real estate lending.
• Experience in preparing loan portfolio, lender and investor reports.
• Ability to communicate and provide compliance-related support and guidance to business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction lending practices and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, accounting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loan portfolios across lending, equity, and NMTC portfolios and assess risks.
• Support loan servicing, annual reviews, and covenant compliance tracking.
• Prepare internal and external reports and assist in AMIS reporting.
• Conduct market research and analyze portfolio trends and mitigating factors.
• Input and maintain data in loan management systems and related tools.
