Job summary

Louisville Urban League seeks a Leasing Specialist to market and lease available rental properties, support occupancy goals, and represent the REBOUND portfolio with a welcoming, service-oriented approach.

You will handle tenant screening, leases, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and relations with residents and agencies, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local laws and program requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of Tax Credits, HOME, Section 8, Fair Housing, and HUD regulations is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain occupancy of 95% or higher across properties.
• Screen tenants, prepare leases, collect rent, and coordinate maintenance.
• Provide tours, explain rates and policies to prospective residents.
• Process applications and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Support renewals and resident relations, and maintain records in PM software.
