Job summary

City Year Tulsa seeks Impact Managers to lead and develop teams of full-time student success coaches within partner schools. You will guide coaching, tutoring, and school-wide initiatives under City Year’s Whole School, Whole Child model, reporting to an Impact Director.

You will operate primarily on-site at schools, foster a positive team culture, and ensure data collection and service delivery meet program standards while supporting youth development and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in youth development, people management, education, or comparable experience.
• Authorized documentation to work in the United States
• Ability to pass criminal background checks as required for working with school-age children

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead, manage, and coach a team of 6-10 AmeriCorps members; provide regular feedback and foster development.
• Service Delivery & Impact: Implement City Year’s service model; deliver tutoring and coaching in English, math, and interpersonal skills; collect data.
• School Partner Management: Serve as primary liaison with principals and teachers; align services with school priorities.
• Collaboration & Learning: Train teammates; support site-wide goals; model City Year culture and values.
