Job summary

The University of Nebraska Foundation is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support a portfolio of low-to-moderate complexity projects across the university system. You will coordinate discovery, capture requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and ITS to design cost-effective solutions that enable the university to change and save lives.

Based in Lincoln or Omaha with local travel, you will join a mission-driven team that values integrity, teamwork, and a passion for the mission,

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with certification.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in IT business and solution analysis.
• Familiarity with project methodologies.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Recommend enhancement or changes from high-quality analysis to optimizing processes.
• Coordinate projects from intake to completion.
• Conduct timely project discovery and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and ITS department.
• Facilitate requirement reviews with all impacted participants.
• Determine best-fit solutions considering cost, resources, risk, and business impact.
• Provide ongoing support during solution implementation and post-implementation issues.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with employees across the Foundation.
