Job summary

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation seeks a Head of Insights & Impact, based in Austin, TX, to lead the enterprise MEL, analytics, data science, and the Enterprise Data Platform. This role drives evidence-based decision making across Programs and partners, shaping a data-driven culture at scale.

You will oversee the analytics and data strategy, develop KPI frameworks, and translate complex insights into actionable recommendations that improve program outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership spanning analytics, impact measurement, evaluation, data science, and/or digital transformation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Analytics, Data Science, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Enterprise Data.
• Ability to build enterprise strategies that integrate analytics, data, and AI with business goals.
• Excellent executive communication and storytelling to distill complexity for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the Insights & Impact function—analytics, AI, evaluation, and enterprise data.
• Lead enterprise Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning across all portfolios.
• Develop clear frameworks for outcomes and KPI-driven measurement that motivate teams.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations to support grantmaking and decisions.
• Advance the analytics roadmap including reporting and decision-support tools.
