Job summary

Arabella Advisors seeks a Financial Engineer-Kiwi Partners to partner with clients, analyze data, and implement accounting solutions across Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com and Expensify. You will develop dashboards and help clients improve financial processes.

In this client‑facing role, you will train client staff, map chart of accounts, support cash flow forecasting, and assist with month‑end close. A hybrid work setup from multiple open locations is available.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressive accounting and/or consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, Planner.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet.
• Knowledgeable of accounting systems, internal controls, and implementing control improvements.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com or Expensify is a plus.
• 1–2 years of Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist experience.
• Ability to balance multiple clients and work independently or collaboratively.
• Prior experience in a small nonprofit, startup, or unstructured environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand financial processes and opportunities for improvements.
• Research, test, and perform proofs of concept on recommended applications.
• Develop dashboards and monitor KPIs for strategic measures.
• Train client employees and Kiwi staff on system use and workflow.
• Assist in system implementations (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify).
• Document accounting procedures and map chart of accounts for new systems.
• Support cash flow forecasting models and month-end close processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, timelines, and status reports.
