Job summary

Lilac Learning Center in Spokane, WA seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to develop students' curricular trajectories and manage goals. You will train staff on goal procedures, report to the Site Director, and work in a collaborative, student-centered setting.

The role is full-time, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday, year-round, not remote, with strong emphasis on IEPs, interdisciplinary teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree and appropriate licensure for WA Special Education.
• Washington teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain.
• Training in QBS Safety Care de-escalation and crisis management techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff professional development and supervise Lead Techs and Behavior Techs.
• Collaborate with BCBA on student objectives and documentation.
• Identify individual student needs and create supportive learning environments.
• Ensure accommodations and develop IEPs and related materials.
• Maintain progress reports and communicate with parents and Site Director.
