Job summary

Responsibilities

• Foster an educational environment and plan instruction tailored to individual students.
• Use appropriate instructional methods and materials aligned with goals.
• Establish classroom policies and guide student behavior and conduct.
• Consult with students, parents/guardians, specialists and staff to support achievement.
• Set classroom goals and monitor progress in accordance with IEPs.
• Direct activities of assigned non-certificated personnel and assist as needed.
• Collect and interpret data; develop and evaluate IEPs and reports.
• Attend required staff meetings and district activities.
