Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a Quality Engineer to support and sustain operations in an automotive safety test laboratory. You will plan, execute, and analyze product validation and qualification testing, including inflator performance and reliability evaluations.

Strong collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Operations is essential. The role requires a mechanical/engineering degree, excellent English communication, and experience with lab testing and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.
• Experience with laboratory testing, data analysis, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with product validation or safety-related products is a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain passport and support outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute product validation, reliability, qualification and failure analysis tests.
• Conduct specialized lab testing including inflator performance, weld analysis, hydroburst and environmental/mechanical tests.
• Analyze data, investigate failures using root cause methods and prepare technical reports.
• Maintain and improve lab test methods, procedures, and equipment for quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Operations to drive improvements and safety readiness.
