Job summary

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a Supportive Housing Specialist to help individuals achieve housing stability and community integration. You will deliver evidence-based services and work from a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective to empower participants.

Responsibilities include housing needs assessments, lease support, move-in coordination, and building partnerships with landlords and housing authorities.

Qualifications

• AA degree in a related field.
• Two years’ experience working with individuals who have behavioral health challenges.
• Must obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within 7 days of employment.
• Possess or pursue Certified Peer Counselor Credential through WA DOH within 30 days of employment.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, education, support, and skill-building related to housing stability and community integration goals.
• Deliver services using SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices to support the fidelity model for Supportive Housing.
• Maintain person-centered, trauma-informed services honoring participant choice and self-determination.
• Screen eligibility, complete Housing Needs Assessments, and support lease development and housing documents.
• Assist with move-in coordination and furnish required supplies and resources.
• Educate participants on budgeting, organization, and community resource navigation.
• Maintain data systems and report outcomes in line with program guidelines.
• Collaborate with landlords, housing authorities, and community partners to expand housing options.
