The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) is seeking a Development Associate to join its expanding team, shaping affordable housing and community-oriented projects.

You will work with senior developers on pipeline projects, assist with due diligence, entitlements, financing, design, construction, and leasing, delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget. You will collaborate across divisions such as Property Management, Community Life, Asset Management, and Finance, solve problems creatively,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 1-3 years’ related experience preferred.
• Direct experience with affordable housing development is ideal but not required.
• Strong financial and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to present to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Organize responses to RFPs and support deal closures.
• Represent the organization at community meetings and public forums.
• Collaborate across divisions to advance pipeline projects.
• Learn and participate in due diligence, entitlements, financing, design, construction, and leasing.
