Layton Construction in Las Vegas is seeking a Project Engineer for the Healthcare Construction Group. The engineer assists Project Managers to ensure work meets plans and specifications on healthcare projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with architects and subcontractors, maintaining logs, updating schedules, and supporting bidding and scope development. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 1+ year of GC

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor or related internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Managers to ensure work meets plan and specification requirements.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and plans for constructability and value.
• Maintain logs, update schedules, and publish weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with superintendent, architects, and subcontractors for milestones.
• Assist in bidding and developing scope of work for trade contractors.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on site.
