Job summary

Heartview Foundation is seeking a dynamic Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager to lead donor relations and fundraising initiatives in Bismarck, ND. This role emphasizes relationship building with donors, planning annual fundraising activities, and overseeing event logistics to support Heartview’s mission.

You’ll work in-person, with opportunities to collaborate across teams, manage budgets, and drive donor engagement through strategic outreach and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field; or equivalent fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and cultivate relationships with potential funders (individuals, businesses, Heartview Alumni).
• Build and maintain profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with current and potential donors.
• Develop an annual fundraising plan and budget.
• Create and maintain revenue/expense reports for fundraising events to enhance transparency.
• Plan and execute fundraising events showcasing event management skills.
• Participate in organizational/community meetings to support Heartview Foundation’s success.
