Job summary

Alliance for Community Empowerment (ACE) seeks a Business Development Manager to bridge employer partners with ACE participants, developing targeted outreach and engagement strategies to expand career pathways. You will lead workshops, advisory council activities, and employment exposure initiatives while advancing equity-focused workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience in sales, recruiting, partnership management, or workforce development.
• Experience building partnerships with employers or community organizations.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, recruit, and maintain partnerships with employers to secure employment opportunities for ACE participants.
• Educate employers on background check policies, EEOC guidance, and Fair Chance hiring practices.
• Recruit and engage an Employer Advisory Council with diverse industry representation.
• Offer work readiness workshops including resume building and interview techniques.
• Organize participant excursions to job fairs and employer tours.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with workforce partners (government or CBO).
• Track and report employer engagement metrics, placement rates, and retention outcomes.
