Job summary

Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) in Seattle, WA, seeks an Assistant Director for a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive early learning program. The role supports the Program Director to ensure program quality, regulatory compliance, family engagement, enrollment support, and smooth operations.

You will assist teachers and families, manage attendance, reports, and data, while promoting professional development and a positive learning environment across Beacon Hill or Lake City locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years working with preschool children.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds.
• Access to reliable transportation; WA driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support program operations, data management and reporting.
• Assist with enrollment, attendance tracking, and family engagement.
• Provide classroom quality support and staff development.
• Ensure licensing compliance and document management.
• Coordinate invoicing and subsidy processes.
• Communicate with families about voucher timelines and renewals.
