Job summary

Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) is seeking a Lead Teacher to run a Seattle Preschool Program classroom at Northaven Early Learning Center. You will lead instruction, plan curriculum, assess children, and engage with families while ensuring SPP and DEEL compliance.

The role emphasizes multilingual development, dual language learning, and belonging. Strong collaboration with staff and ongoing professional development are required.

Qualifications

• Meet the current DEEL/MERIT qualification requirements for an SPP Lead Teacher.
• BA in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s degree with required ECE coursework.
• Ability to meet WA state licensing, background check, health and safety, and SPP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation and instruction of an SPP preschool classroom.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive curriculum.
• Provide classroom leadership and collaborate with the Assistant Teacher and other staff.
