Job summary

VersAbility Resources, based in Hampton, VA, seeks a Service Coordinator to guide families through the Early Intervention process, from intake to IFSP development, ongoing coordination, and transition planning.

You will work with families, therapists, physicians, nurses, childcare providers, and community partners to ensure timely, coordinated services and resources. A background in early childhood development or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet one Virginia Early Intervention education/experience pathway.
• Degrees listed include allied health, rehabilitation counseling, therapy, social work, nursing, or related fields.
• Alternative pathways acceptable with relevant direct-service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers and their families.
• Complete intake, screenings, eligibility activities, IFSP development and reviews.
• Facilitate IFSP meetings and develop family-centered goals.
• Monitor services and ensure timely coordination across providers.
• Maintain accurate case notes, billing, and documentation.
