Job summary

L’Arche Boston North is seeking a Director of Development and Communications in Haverhill, MA to lead fundraising strategy, donor relations, and communications in support of the organization’s mission. The role reports to the Executive Director and oversees the Development Team.

The position offers day-shift hours with compensation ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, within a mission-driven nonprofit context and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising leadership and donor engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage teams and collaborate with an executive director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement fundraising strategies including major gifts, grants, events, and donor pipeline.
• Serve as strategic advisor to the Executive Director on fundraising.
• Oversee donor relations, stewardship, and pipeline growth.
• Provide leadership for the Development Team and oversee grants management.
• Plan and execute special events and generate fundraising reports for the board.
