Midcoast Conservancy is seeking a Development and Communications Associate to support fundraising, engagement, and communications across the organization. You will work with the Engagement Team, leadership, and partners to align efforts with priorities.

The 32-hour-per-week salaried role offers potential growth to 40 hours, with hybrid work at Waldoboro/Jefferson, ME. Salary ranges between $40,000 and $44,000, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.

Competenze

• Past experience with fundraising and database management.
• Strong writing skills across formats and platforms.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media best practices.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Flexible, collaborative, and adaptable to change.
• Experience using tools like Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Squarespace, and a CRM.

Mansioni

• Execute fundraising appeals and campaigns; segment donors and schedule follow-ups.
• Process donor acknowledgments and support stewardship.
• Maintain Neon One donor database for campaigns and outreach.
• Support membership growth and donor engagement.
• Coordinate events and prepare fundraising reports for Board meetings.
• Contribute to development communications and branding efforts.
• Travel as needed to capture multimedia content.
