Job summary

Maine Public is seeking a highly organized and creative communications professional to support our Leadership Giving team. The role involves developing donor communications, coordinating outreach and marketing materials, and writing and coordinating grants.

You will plan and execute donor events and strengthen relationships with Maine Public’s philanthropic supporters. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating with others,

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and project-management abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy are required.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, CRM or donor databases, list management, or similar communications tools is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop donor communications and supporting materials for Maine Public’s Leadership Giving team.
  • Coordinate outreach and marketing materials and assist with grant writing and coordination.
  • Plan and execute donor events and strengthen relationships with philanthropic supporters.
  • Manage mailing lists and coordinate email distributions, workflows, and events.
  • Support communications workflows and attend donor events as needed.
