Job summary

The American Heart Association seeks a Development Director in Modesto to drive revenue for Impact Campaigns and Heart Walk, in a hybrid role spanning field work, home, and regional offices. Based in Modesto with the Sacramento/Stockton/Modesto team, you will build donor relations, manage campaigns and events, and collaborate across the division to achieve

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant fundraising, sales, or related experience.
• University/College degree or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-Suite level.

Responsibilities

• Drive peer-to-peer and participant income fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals and document results.
• Recruit, engage and recognize volunteers for local campaigns; provide coaching to maximize revenue and experience.
• Identify and network with donors and volunteers; collaborate with staff to broaden the network and manage cultivation plans.
• Organize local donor cultivation events and manage event logistics (kick-off, mid-point, moment of impact).
• Collaborate with divisions and staff to align with vision and provide support in fundraising initiatives.
• Drive Heart Walk participation through company recruitment, goal-setting, and campaign expansion.
• Recruit, engage and support Executives with Heart initiative.
• Ensure compliance with Fiscal Standard policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and use Microsoft platforms.
• Work with Communications Director to support campaign communications.
