Job summary

The City of New York seeks a Data & Metrics Analyst to support the NYCCFB’s impact measurement framework, translating goals into measurable outcomes. You will build dashboards, assist with survey design, and perform advanced analyses using internal and external data sources.

Reporting to the Data & Metrics Manager, you will help ensure rigorous monitoring of the agency’s strategic plan and provide data-driven insights to inform decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Experience in public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven environments preferred.
• Knowledge of survey design and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reporting tools from scratch.
• Conduct predictive analyses and build statistical models.
• Create data visualizations and draft executive reports.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to establish SOPs and data governance.
• Present strategic findings to internal and external audiences.
