Job summary

Medicilon USA Corp is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist I to join our Pharmacology team, focusing on immunology and cell-based assays to support drug discovery and preclinical research. The successful candidate will independently design, execute, and analyze in vitro experiments related to immune cell function, cytokine profiling, and mechanism-of-action studies.

The position is ideal for a scientist with a strong foundation in cellular immunology and experience with in vivo

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience (CRO/biotech preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience with multicolor flow cytometry (≥10-color panels) and immune cell-based assays.
  • Strong understanding of immune cell biology, activation markers, and cytokine signaling.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, or FCS Express.
  • Experience with ELISA, MSD, or Luminex assays for cytokine quantification.
  • Experience with in vivo techniques, including dosing, harvesting, imaging of rodents, is a plus.
  • Excellent data interpretation, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative team goals.

Responsibilities

  • Study Execution & Laboratory Research: Conduct in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo experiments under the direction of the Principal Scientist or Study Director.
  • Perform laboratory techniques including cell-based assays, animal studies, flow cytometry, molecular and protein analysis, and other related experimental procedures.
  • Assist in the execution of study protocols, including sample preparation, dosing, data collection, and routine assay procedures.
  • Support the optimization and troubleshooting of assays and experimental procedures to ensure reproducibility and data quality.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and materials necessary for study execution.
