AbbVie seeks a China Precision Medicine Scientific Lead - Immunology to drive translational strategies and biomarker programs across immunology assets. You will lead biomarker development and collaborate with global teams to align translational strategies with asset goals in early and late-stage development. Strong leadership and communication are required to guide cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD or MD with 5+ years in pharma or equivalent; strong translational sciences and immunology background.
• Publications in immunology or related fields demonstrated by a strong record.
• Experience with biomarker development and translational medicine in drug development.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational and biomarker strategies for one or more clinical programs.
• Manage design, interpretation and reporting of biomarker data aligned with asset strategy.
• Lead translational projects/teams in a matrix environment.
• Coordinate sample management, assay validation and data management with CROs.
• Ensure budgets, timelines, publications and regulatory compliance are integrated into program strategy.
• Draft and review translational medicine sections of development plans and regulatory documents.
• Lead collaborations and key opinion leader interactions with Medical Affairs and other functions.
• Stay current with literature and emerging immunology technologies.
