Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an accomplished leader in AI-enabled computational biology to advance immunogenicity and translational immunology capabilities across biologics discovery and development. You will guide strategy, lead cross-functional programs, and build scalable computational platforms to predict ADA responses and other immune liabilities in complex biologics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in computational biology, computational structural biology, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, computer science, data science, biophysics or related field with 8+ years experience; or Master’s with 14+ years.
• Demonstrated discipline expertise in computational protein science, biologics discovery or development, AI/ML, and predictive modeling.
• Proven ability to define scientific strategy, lead complex multidisciplinary programs, and deliver computational capabilities.
• Demonstrated people-management experience with team leadership and coaching.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop the AI/ML-based immunogenicity strategy across biologics discovery and development.
• Lead development and deployment of predictive immunogenicity models.
• Integrate ADA, PK/PD, HLA, sequence/structure, and multi-omics data using ML.
• Lead cross-functional programs and translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
