Job summary

AbbVie seeks a senior scientific expert to design and implement Precision Medicine strategies advancing novel therapies for autoimmune diseases. You will integrate scientific objectives across Immunology and Gastroenterology with stakeholders to drive development of assets and technologies while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Interacts well with diverse groups within function and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
• Experience in clinical research and/or development environment. Proven ability to innovate with a history of supporting new and/or existing product launches and/or scientific narratives.
• Experience in the field of Gastroenterology research, clinical development and/or clinical trial execution required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves Precision Medicine strategy in alignment with functional goals and key scientific objectives.
• Advances scientific expertise within Precision Medicine, Immunology and Gastroenterology. Mentors and trains colleagues and assesses challenges.
• Presents scientific concepts and results to leaders and partners; maximizes impact and value of expertise.
