Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, processing, and reporting test results.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested like patient samples.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or reporting; notify supervisor when needed.
• Document corrective actions when systems deviate from performance specifications.
