Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist I to join the on-site lab team at 90 Blossom Street. The role involves specimen processing, test performance, and reporting waived and non-waived results under CLIA guidelines.

A generous sign-on bonus is offered and starting pay is stated per hour, with differential incentives based on experience. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of lab experience; ASCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
• Perform test analyses and report results accurately.
• Maintain records of patient test results and quality control activities.
• Identify and report problems; take corrective action or notify supervisor.
• Adhere to established performance specifications and action policies.
