Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II (Chemistry Day Shift) to perform testing under CLIA guidance and ensure accurate results. The role includes supervision of a workstation, QC review, and inventory management in a fast-paced lab environment.

Starting pay is $33 per hour for entry level, with a generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 for eligible candidates. 75 Francis Street location, onsite, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required
• Clinical Laboratory Sciences certificate/diploma required
• No experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Follow policies; perform tests per SOPs and report results
• Supervise workload and ensure quality control and inventory
• Provide training, competency assessments, and manage QC records
• Identify and escalate test issues; maintain compliance with SLAs
• Work as part of the laboratory team under supervision
