Job summary

Antares seeks a Sr. Director/VP, Clinical Development (Immunology) to lead the immunology/inflammation program from IND through early phases. This hands-on physician‑scientist will shape strategy, interfaces with cross‑functional teams, and drive external scientific engagement.

The role reports to the CMO and requires 7–10 years in immunology/autoimmune drug development, with a track record in IND readiness and early clinical design in a lean environment. Boston or SF-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and clinical training with immunology/autoimmune focus.
• 7-10 years in immunology/inflammation clinical development leadership.
• Experience advancing programs from IND through Phase II/III and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical development strategy from IND through Phase II/III for Immunology/inflammation programs.
• Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Translational Medicine, Nonclinical, CMC, and Clinical Operations on IND and global filings.
• Design and oversee early clinical trials; own endpoints, patient selection, and go/no-go criteria.
• Establish external scientific leadership and KOL relationships to shape program narrative.
• Operate as a lean, high-ownership leader with cross-functional influence.
