Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and qualifying functional assays in primary human immune cells.
• Proficiency in cell-based assay development and qPCR.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Deep understanding of immune pathways in autoimmunity.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and own in vitro and ex vivo experiments to evaluate immune cell function, target engagement, and mechanism of action.
• Independently analyze and interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Partner with chemistry, protein sciences, and pharmacology to translate questions into informative experiments.
• Build mechanism-of-action and target engagement packages to support candidate selection and IND-enabling studies.
• Bring new methods from the literature and evaluate approaches to strengthen immune biology interrogation.
• Senior Scientist: lead a defined experimental workstream and mentor junior scientists.
