Job summary

Seismic Therapeutic is seeking a bench scientist to develop and optimize assays that support immunology programs. You will create PK, ADA, TOC engagement, and PD assays across human, NHP, and mouse samples using ligand binding and flow cytometry.

You will work closely with research and clinical teams to ensure assays answer the right questions and prepare them for transfer to CRO partners. This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing ligand binding assays for biologics (PK/ADA).
• Strong multicolor flow cytometry experience and data analysis.
• Experience with samples from human, NHP or mouse.
• Excellent documentation and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD) for biologics in multiple species.
• Develop and optimize flow cytometry assays for target engagement and PD readouts.
• Qualify assays to fit-for-purpose standards and identify critical reagents.
• Analyze samples from discovery and IND-enabled studies and present results to teams.
• Prepare transfer packages and support CRO collaboration during transfers.
