Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD in immunology with deep understanding of immune mechanisms.
• 12+ years drug development experience in biotech/pharma.
• Experience leading biomarker and PK/PD strategies for early-phase studies.
• Ability to engage with disease experts and academic investigators.
• Strong influencing and cross-functional leadership without direct line authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and own translational medicine and biomarker strategies for each Seismic program, from development candidate selection through clinical POC.
• Partner with Immunology and Discovery to shape preclinical pharmacology and PK/PD packages informing dose selection.
• Design biomarker strategies for clinical studies and lead the translational and biomarker content of regulatory documents.
• Oversee generation of multimodal data and ensure assays are fit-for-purpose and qualified.
• Build networks with disease experts and academic collaborators to access patient samples and cohorts.
