Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Specialty Laboratory Technologist (Histocompatibility) to join our Histocompatibility and Immunology Laboratory (HLA Lab). You will perform serological and molecular HLA testing to support solid organ and bone marrow transplantation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adheres to regulatory requirements, and collaborates with transplant teams to ensure accurate donor-recipient matching and timely reporting of results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Experience with histocompatibility testing preferred.
• Strong attention to regulatory compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform serological and molecular HLA testing for donor-recipient matching.
• Conduct HLA typing, crossmatching, antibody screening, and flow assays.
• Maintain QC records and operate LIS systems.
• Collaborate with transplant teams and physicians.
