Job summary

Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. in Frederick, MD seeks a seasoned molecular biology/immunology professional to develop and implement validated immunoassays for clinical trial studies.

This 100% onsite role requires expertise in tissue culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR, and GCLP compliance. Responsibilities include assay development, data management in LIMS, SOP maintenance, report preparation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in immunology, vaccinology, or molecular biology or 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a related biomedical laboratory.
• Experience with tissue culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, PCR, and immunology/virology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture and immunological/virological techniques with aseptic handling.
• Develop and qualify/validate T cell assays by multi-color flow cytometry.
• Perform serology projects from conception to execution.
• Manage samples and inventory using LIMS and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare reports and participate in SOP development and validations.
