Job summary

Maricopa County Department of Public Health seeks a Medical Records Clerk to support the Immunization Outreach Team. You will assist with check‑in, registration, and collection of demographics and insurance information at events and clinics. Some evenings and weekends are required, with travel across Maricopa County.

You will safeguard patient privacy and ensure forms are completed and signed, contributing to accessible immunization services for the community.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Post‑secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, customer‑focused service by greeting clients upon arrival and assisting with registration.
• Enter client demographic and insurance information into computer systems accurately.
• Ensure all required forms are completed, acknowledged, and signed per program requirements.
• Safeguard patient information in compliance with confidentiality laws and departmental policies.
• Assist with outreach event setup and coverage at evening/weekend immunization events.
