Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking an Immunization Specialist to drive healthcare provider engagement and vaccine uptake in the Phoenix East Valley region. You will educate clinicians on GSK vaccines, translate data into clinical conversations, and collaborate with Account Managers to ensure compliant, high‑quality field execution.

The role requires strong scientific fluency, customer engagement skills, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally as required for customer engagement. Occasional overnights and weekend travel.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive (essential function of this role).
• The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience: Immunization Specialist (grade 8) or Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7).

Responsibilities

• Engage HCPs to communicate the clinical value of GSK vaccines using approved materials.
• Build deep expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas and products.
• Support peer-to-peer educational programs and events to raise vaccine awareness and recommendations.
• Tailor engagement strategies based on local practice dynamics and HCP/account needs.
• Ensure pull through across adult segments for private and public vaccination, including in-office vaccination and referrals.
• Partner with Vaccine Account Managers to drive product pull through with contracted accounts.
• Influence uptake of publicly funded vaccines by engaging with HCPs, health departments and funding cycles.
• Educate/account for HS policies and assist with ordering and inventory management when appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant execution and provide field insights.
