Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking an Immunization Specialist to drive HCP engagement and vaccine uptake across assigned US territories. You will educate providers on disease prevention, communicate the clinical value of GSK vaccines, and collaborate with account leadership to ensure compliant, effective programs.

The role emphasizes strong customer engagement, scientific fluency, and ability to translate data into meaningful conversations that support vaccination goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally as required for customer engagement. Occasional overnights and weekend travel.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive (essential function of this role).
• Immunization Specialist (grade 8) or Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7) depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage HCPs across internal medicine, family practice and health departments to communicate the clinical value of GSK vaccines.
• Build depth expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas and products.
• Support peer-to-peer educational programs, conventions, and speaker events to enhance vaccine awareness.
• Tailor engagement strategies based on local practice dynamics and needs.
• Ensure pull through across adult segments including stocking, in-office vaccination, and referrals.
• Partner with Vaccine Account Managers to drive product pull through within public and contracted accounts.
• Influence uptake of publicly funded vaccines and understand funding cycles.
• Maintain CRM documentation and support compliance with policies.
• Identify and address barriers to contract execution and vaccine access.
