The ideal candidate is a recently licensed attorney with immigration law experience gained through internships, clinics, or related work, and holds an active California Bar license.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ year of immigration law experience through internships, clinics, fellowships or related roles.
• Experience with USCIS filings and immigration case preparation.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS and related agencies.
• Conduct client interviews, intake assessments, and case evaluations.
• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda.
• Provide community legal education and outreach.
• Participate in immigration clinics and intake events.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, interns, and volunteers.
• Maintain accurate case records and reporting requirements.
