Job description

Note: Please do not apply unless you have a connection to Pittsburgh, a strong interest in business immigration law, and are willing to undergo psychometric testing. This is not a remote work-from-home job.

Responsibilities:
  1. Draft documents for visa applications, petitions, permanent residence, labor certification, and other immigrant and non-immigrant filings.
  2. Communicate verbally and in writing with clients and coworkers.
  3. Analyze case details to determine next steps.
  4. Assist with online application processes, including PERM, FLAG, CEAC databases, and consular processing through NVC.
  5. Liaise with government agencies such as USCIS, CBP, DOS, and DOL.
  6. Gather, analyze, review, and organize evidence and information; conduct quality assurance on filings.
  7. Revise job descriptions, client advisories, and other written communications related to developments in the field.
  8. Assemble application and petition packages for submission.
  9. Coordinate translation of documents across various languages.
  10. Perform administrative duties related to new client intake.
  11. Maintain a calendar of filing deadlines and processing times; manage caseloads.
  12. Stay informed on immigration law trends and share insights with the team.
  13. Collaborate with team members and assist coworkers as needed.
